:: Riverside Economic Stimulus

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) is a historic effort by the federal government in response to the most serious economic crisis since the Great Depression. The ARRA creates $787 billion in funding for state and municipal agencies to use towards projects that will breathe life into local economies and create much needed jobs for residents.

In following the transparency set forth by the Obama administration, it is our goal to keep Riversiders informed about the status of issues related to the ARRA. This website will serve as a powerful informational tool. It allows viewers to understand what stimulus funding Riverside has applied for and received, and what projects are scheduled to be completed with those funds.

I assure you that we are taking a strong approach to ensure the stimulus funds create the best results for Riverside now and in the future.
